The detective looking after Daniel’s case rang to say the SAR operation for Daniel has been officially peer-reviewed, and everything was done as well as it could have been. She will now complete her report for the district commander, before it’s all handed over to the coroner. I have been given no timeframe for how long it might take the coroner to make a formal declaration or anything like that.
The cops have been great in all this and I am grateful for their empathy and concern for my family, and for the help detectives C and M have given me personally. Thank you.
