Today the private plane we’ve been offered will fly out of Ardmore and search along the Āwhitu coast. The owner said this will be free of charge but we will offer to help with his fuel costs.
Daniel’s mum is on the northern side of the Manukau doing some beach walking, and I will head back to Waiuku today or tomorrow to walk the west coast beaches for a few days. We now have a few landowner contacts so we might be able to arrange some better/easier beach access points.
