Daniel sausage has been missing 13 days now.

The police said last night they are reviewing the SAR ground searches, and I don’t think they’ll be doing any more. Still waiting to hear back from them if any more coast flights will be done.

Yesterday we walked the beach north and south of Hamilton’s Gap. It feels good to put in some kms and cover ground that no-one else has covered in that low tide cycle.

Today we will walk the same piece of beach. Low tide is at 3.40 pm so we will leave Hamilton’s Gap at 1.30 pm. Sunset is at 5.32 pm.

We are of course still hopeful that our boy will turn up but we are being realistic. Suddenly almost two weeks have passed, and we know that people have been lost off this coast and not shown up, ever. We are bracing ourselves for this.

For now though, the cops say it’s still worth looking, so we will keep looking. We just want our boy home.
